Seeking Board Members

Updated: Jun 21, 2021

We are currently in need of volunteers to join the Board of Directors. The Crescent Park HOA is a voluntary organization which thrives solely through the energy and time of its members. Being a board member enables you to give back to the community and help ensure a bright future for the neighborhood.

Your primary responsibilities, most likely as a trustee initially, would be to attend HOA Board meetings 5 or 6 times per year, express your opinion on topics presented to the Board, and vote on any topics presented. That's it! That would be your minimum responsibilities. Beyond that, we sometimes ask for volunteers for other things such as researching who to contact for a particular need or gathering some other type of information to be posted on this website. You may be asked to help set up chairs at a meeting or ferry food to the annual picnic. If you'd like further involvement, you could lead a project, assist on a project, or lead a social group. Additional responsibilities aren't required, but are encouraged since more hands make for less work.

For the senior volunteers of the Board (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer), your responsibilities could be greater. The Secretary, for example, is responsible for taking meeting minutes and posting them. The Treasurer is responsible for collecting dues and keeping track of finances. The President and Vice President run meetings, send email announcements to the membership, update the website, and generally have more day-to-day responsibilities.

If you would like to serve the community and join the board, please email us!
